"Audio Description" (AD) is a term used to describe the provision of detailed descriptions of visual material such as film, theater, dance, photography, etc. for people who are blind or have a visual impairment.  For ten years David has been working in this field.  He has written and narrated AD scripts for dozens of films at the Reel Abilities Film Festival in New York City as well as theater productions at The Public Theater and elsewhere.  He has also written and narrated descriptions of dance performances for the choreographers Heidi Latsky, Alice Shepherd, and Netta Yerushalmy.
